He was a partner in Green & Van Pelt (1906), in Thompson & Van Pelt (1925), and Van Pelt, Hardy & Goubert (1928–1930). He had his offices in New York City and Patchogue, Long Island.〔"Questionnaire for Architects’ Roster and/or Register of Architects Qualified for Federal Public Works () May 6, 1946〕 ==Biography== Van Pelt was born in Philadelphia and attended private schools there until attending the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. In 1904, he worked for Carrere and Hastings.〔 His offices were on 45 West 45th Street, New York City (sharing office space with the architectural firm of Weiskopf & Pickworth), and Roe Boulevard, West, Patchogue, Long Island, New York.〔 During World War I, he was chairman of inspection committees and later in charge of computing the budget.
